Rashid Malik clinches ITF Seniors’ title in Thailand

Karachi: Pakistan Davis Cup captain and former Pakistan Number 1, Rashid Malik added another feather to his cap after winning 55 Plus singles title in Phuket ITF Seniors Pro Circuit Grade 4 Tournament, which concluded at Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club in Phuket, Thailand.

Five senior players – two from India, one from France, one Singaporean and one Pakistani player took part in this round robin world ranking seniors’ event.

Rashid Malik finished with all four wins whereas Sharad Tak of India finished second.

Rashid Malik also won doubles event with Sanjay Kumar of India as the duo defeated Sharad Tak and N. Palaganda of India in the final.
