Rice aid for flood affected families

LAHORE: Al Mustafa Welfare Society Trust will distribute rice bags among 70’000 flood affected families. This food aid was received from Taiwan, while Al Mustafa will arrange the packing, transportation and distribution in the affected areas of Pakistan.

Chairman Al Mustafa Welfare Trust Abdul Razzaq Sajid said that a convey consisting of nine trucks were sent in different parts of Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab and Kashmir, while Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui was the chief guest and Patron Chief of Al Mustafa Haji Mohammad Hanif Tayyab, Dr Abdul Rahim, Ahmed Raza Tayyab, Abdul Ghaffar Saeedi, Abdul Qadeer Sharif, Amin Adam Jee, Arif Yusuf and others were also present on the occasion.

In the first phase rice aid will be distributed in different districts of Balochistan including Quetta, Sibi, Dera Allah Yar, Dera Murad Jamali, in Sindh province including Jaccobabad, Shikarpur, Kandhkot, Kashmore, Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur, Ranipur, in Punjab province including Multan, Muzaffargarh, Faisalabad, Chiniot, while in Azad Kashmir including Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Neelam and Bagh. The distribution in other areas will start in second phase, Sajid added.
