Rid Karachi of political terrorizing, demands Altaf Shakoor

Karachi: Pasban e Pakistan President Altaf Shakoor has demanded of the government to end the culture of political terrorizing in Karachi so that all political parties, big and small, could field their candidates without any fear for the coming by-polls on NA-246 Karachi.

In a statement here on Wednesday, he said Pasban has already sought advice from the Pasban workers, as well as, masses for fielding a Pasban candidate on the constituency. He said the prevailing atmosphere of fear should be ended so that voters could give vote to their favorite candidates without any apprehension of backlashes from the armed mafias working in guise of political parties.

He said to make Karachi a cradle of peace and to end the culture of extortion and targeted killings from the city it is necessary that alternate leadership should be given a chance. He said Pasban would play its due role in giving Karachi peace and getting it rid of the killers, criminals and extortionists. He said Pasban believes in the potential of our youth, this is why its cadres are comprised of young and energetic people. He said Pasban would introduce new peaceful political culture not only in Karachi but the whole country.
