Role of police praised in fighting crime

KARACHI: Government servants are duty bound to resolve the problems faced by general public, said Chief secretary Sindh Mohammad Siddiq Memon at the Central Police Office on Tuesday.

He was addressing at a farewell party was in honor of Additional IG Planning, Research and Development Syed Zakir Hussain.

Additional Chief Secretary Sindh Ajaz Ali Khan, IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali, and other senior police officers were also present. They appreciated the service of Syed Zakir for the police department.

Chief Secretary Sindh praised the role of Sindh police in fighting crimes especially in Karachi. He said prevailing peace in the city is a big proof of positive and result-oriented work of law enforcing agencies.

IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali urged the police officers to perform their duties professionally as per their oath.

Syed Zakir Hussain shared his memories related to police department. He said police are facing many challenges but they have capability to tackle them.
