ISLAMABAD: The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provided 200 tons of dates to the Government of Pakistan as a gift.

Jassim Mohammad Khalid Al-Khaldi, Deputy Head of Mission Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Embassy in Islamabad on behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia formally handed over the consignment to Khusro Pervaiz Khan, Additional Secretary-I Cabinet Division, here on Tuesday. Senior officials of Foreign office and Cabinet Division were also present.

Khusro Pervaiz Khan, on behalf of the Government of Pakistan, expressed sincere thanks and gratitude for this kind gesture of the Government of the Saudi Arabia.

He also conveyed the warm sentiments of the people of Pakistan for their Saudi brethren for their love and affection and also expressed the hope that the warm and cordial relations between the two brotherly states will continue to flourish in the times to come.
