KARACHI: In the support of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), the Sindh Bus Owners Association (SBTA) will shut its transport across Sindh Province on August 5, 2015.
This was stated by Association’s President Mir Afzal Khan while talking to PPI. He flayed the government for for imposing 0.6 percent on bank transitions.
Afzal said that they are also traders and see the government’s act against them as well. He said they had decided to protest shoulder to shoulder with traders until the government realizes its mistake of charging such a big amount on the transactions.
He further said that transporters had decided to gradually withdraw their savings from banks as a mark of protest against the transactions. “This is not acceptable at any cost,” said Mir Afzal.
