ISLAMABAD: A three-member Supreme Court bench headed by chief justice Nasirul Mulk on Tuesday again sought reports from all the provinces on the steps taken for protection of minorities’ rights.
Ministry of Religious Affairs presented its report before the court about the steps taken to ensure protection of minorities rights.
The report of ministry of religious affairs said that the prime minister had given clear directions for implementation of minorities quota in the government jobs.
The bench expressed dissatisfaction over the report of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and again sought reports from all the four provinces on the matter. Later, the court adjourned the hearing till December 16.
