Security high alerted in Balochistan

QUETTA:,,, Security was put on high alert in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan in view of acts of terrorism following operation in Waziristan. Flight operations were cancelled form Quetta airport. Politicians, foreign nationals and UN employees were directed to restrict their movements.

Police men in plain clothes and law enforcement agencies were deployed at important buildings, airports, Railway stations, hotels and commercial centres.

Besides Police, FC contingents were also deployed at all the entry and exit points in Quetta. They started search of suspected people and vehicles.

Additional police men were deployed to ensure security of offices and buildings located in the Red Zone in Metropolis.
