SEMIS code allotted to 20 schools in Sindh

LARKANA: Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, has finally allotted SEMIS code to 20 schools of various districts in Sindh, which were earlier denied over the allegation of non-functional or pending biometric verification of their teachers.

In this connection, a notification, signed by Education Secretary Dr Fazlullah Pechuho, has been issued after the recommendation of committee for allotment of SEMIS code. These schools include Government Boys High School, Amir Bux Shar of Sindhi Tehsil, GBHS, Faqeer Abdullah Mangrio of Sindhri Tehsil, GBHS, Umerabad of Daulatpur, GBHS Gharibabad of Umerkot, GBHS Daro Kohli of Umerkot, GBHS, Manoon Malhi of Umerkot, GGHS of Umardin Samjo of Kaplore Union Council, GBHS of Sadori Saeed Khan Zinpur, GGHS of Ahore Farm, GGHS of Soofi Faqeer, GBHS Koya Anwar of Nangarparker, GBHS English Medium School & GGHS of Naundero, GBHS Sachal Colony, Larkana, GGHS of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto of Tando Adam-I, GBHS HM Khoja GP High School No: 2 of Nawabshah, GBHSS Padidin, GGHS, LUMHS Colony of Kotri, GBHS Butt Serai of Mehar and GGHS Hameeda Shahnawaz of Qasimabad UC-3.

The students of these schools were also deprived of the stipend due to non-allotment of this code which resulted in decline in the attendance.
