Senate (Senators assure full support to armed forces)

Islamabad: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that all out efforts are being made to address the grievances of internally displaced persons (IDP) of North Waziristan.

Speaking in the Senate, he said the entire nation is united above political affiliation to provide relief to the IDPs.

He said the government has distributed 40,000 rupees among each IDP family.

Pervaiz Rashid said the government would welcome suggestions of opposition members for the betterment of relief activities for the displaced families.

Minister for States and Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch said the nation stands with the IDPs in this hour of trial and they are being provided with cash grant and ration.

Speaking on different points, the senators assured full support to armed forces in ongoing operation against terrorists.

They said the operation Zarb-e-Azb is a war for the safe future of the country.
