Larkana: As many as 17 junior District Health Officers of various districts & Medical Superintendent have been replaced with senior general cadre doctors who were recently promoted from BS-19 to 20 in the province of Sindh.
These districts include Kambar-Shahdadkot, Larkana, Shikarpur, Dadu, Jacobabad, Naushehro Feroze ,Sanghar Nawabshah, Kashmore @ Kandhkot, Hyderabad, Ghotki, Matiari, Umerkot, Badin, Thatta, Tando Allahyar and Khairpur.
Through a Notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, Government of Sindh, Dr. (Capt.) Munir Ahmed Jokhio has been posted as DHO Shikarpur, Dr. Abdul Salam Shaikh at Dadu, Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Sajjan at Jacobabad, Dr. Abdul Wahab Wadho at Naushehro Feroze, Dr. Aijaz Ursani at Sanghar, Dr. Abdul Rasheed Qureshi at Nawabshah, Dr. Abdul Waheed Panhwar at Kashmore, Dr. Abdul Jalil Soomar at Hyderabad, Dr. Abu Bakar Shaikh at Ghotki, Dr. Hassan Murad Shah at Matiari, Dr. Girdhari Lal at Umerkot, Dr. Abdul Khaliq Khatti, at Badin, Dr. Khalilullah Shaikh at Larkana, Dr. (Capt.) Safdar Awan at Tando Allahyar, Dr. Rafiq-ul-Hassan Khokhar at Kambar-Shahdadkot and Dr. Ehsanullah Siyal as DHO Khairpur.
The Sindh Government has also transferred five junior Medical Superintendents of BS-19 who were posted against senior posts of Medical Superintendents (BS-20) which include Sindh Government Hospital, Ibrahim Hyderi & Saudabad, Karachi, CDF Hospital Hyderabad, Sir C.J. Institute of Psychiatry, Hyderabad & Services Hospital, Karachi and posted senior officers of BS-20 on these vital posts. This will help the people to resolve their health related issues which the junior doctors failed to benefit the poor patients. This will also help the Sindh government to establish good governance for the first time in their last seven years tenure.
