Senior journalist Abdul Sattar passes away

LAHORE: Senior Journalist and Lahore bureau chief of PPI Abdul Sattar passed away here on Thursday of cardiac arrest. He was 68.

The funeral prayer was offered at Allama Iqbal Town. The deceased was and buried in a local graveyard. The deceased left behind a son and a daughter to mourn.

He served in Directorate General of Public Relations Punjab (DGPR) as deputy director and after retirement joined PPI.

Quran Khawani and Qul will be held on Friday at 3.00 pm at 149 Kamran Block, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore.
