Sharmila congrats new APNS body

KARACHI: : Minister for Culture and Tourism, Ms Sharmila Faruqui has felicitated the newly elected executive committee of All Pakistan Newspaper Society (APNS) for 2015-2016.

She congratulated the election of Hameed Haroon as President, Rameeza Majid Nizami as Senior Vice President, Mumtaz A. Tahir as Vice President, Sarmad Ali as Secretary General, Rahmat Ali Razi as Joint Secretary and Humayoo Tariq as Finance Secretary of the society.

In her message, Sharmila said that she was confident that the newly elected executive committee will prove itself to trust posed by the APNS members.

She also expressed self-belief that the newly elected office-bearers of APNS will work more effectively for the welfare of the journalistic community and newspaper industry.
