Sharmila inaugurates Jinnah Cultural complex and Model Library

KARACHI: Special Assistant to CM Sindh for Culture and Tourism Sharmila Faruqui said on Wednesday that the sacrifice of innocent children of Army Public School Peshawar will not be wasted, they will live among the hearts of millions of people. PPP is the only political party which pours the blood of its several leaders to strengthen the democracy in Pakistan. PPP government is well aware that the only way to defeat the terrorists is to promote education, culture and art. This she said while inaugurating the Jinnah Cultural complex and Model Library in New Karachi.

The date of inauguration is specially selected to pay the tribute to the brave martyrs of Army public school Peshawar. She dedicated this library and complex to all those 144 angels who fearlessly challenged the terrorists a year back.

Sharmila pledged that PPP government will never end the struggle against terrorism. PPP is a party of martyrs and masses. Families of martyrs have high regards in PPP as we ourselves are also members of families of martyrs. We will never bow down before extremists.

She urged people of Pakistan to crush the ideology of extremism and terrorism as we need to be united for a single cause, a prosperous Pakistan without any discrimination of caste, creed and religion.

On this occasion, Special Secretary Culture and Tourism Abdul Kareem Solangi, Director General Culture Manzoor Kanasro, Managing Director Sindh Tourism Development Corporation Nazir Ahmed Soomro, Director Tourism Manzoor Ahmed Mari, Director Culture Aijaz Shaikh, Director Planning Roshan Ali Kanasro and others were present.
