KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued notices to Additional Advocate General and other respondents on a petition filed by Sunday Kabari Bazaar’s shopkeepers seeking court’s direction for reorganizing their Bazaar.
The Sunday Kabari Bazaar’s shopkeepers had taken Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), Bureau of Supply & Prices, Deputy Commissioner Korangi and SHO Zaman Town to the court for creating hindrances in organizing Kabari (Scrap) Bazaar in Karachi’s Korangi area.
The petitioners, Hamid Adnan and Khursheed Alam submitted that they had been organizing a scrap market since 22nd June 2012 after getting Non-Objection Certificate (NOC) from concerned authority. Recently respondents had stopped them from organizing the Bazaar to recover more charges and fees from them, they pleaded to the court.
They requested to the court to restrain the respondents from taking any action detrimental to the interest of the petitioners. They also prayed the court to restrain respondents from creating hindrances in organizing Kabari (Scrap) bazaar in Korangi area.
