KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday directed police official investigating murder of missing person to complete investigation and submit final charge-sheet to concerned court by June 06 against accused which included SHO Peerabad police station and other policemen.
The woman, Aqal Lana, had approached the court, seeking whereabouts of her missing son Haider Ali, allegedly picked up by Peerabad police from Yousufzai bus stand within jurisdiction of Peerabad police station.
Counsel for petitioner informed the court that it has been learnt that missing man has been killed and buried at one of graveyard of Edhi but woman petitioner was not willing to accept this and wanted DNA test in order to ascertain the death of her son.
Earlier FIR was registered under section 365 (Kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person) of PPC against SHO Peerabad police station, and other police officials. However, later section 302 (pre-meditated murder) was incorporated when it was established with help of DNA test that petitioner’s son was killed and buried.
