SHO killed in armed attack

KARACHI: Preedy Police Station’s SHO was killed by unidentified armed men in Defence, here Thursday.

Police said four unknown gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on Preedy Police Station’s SHO Khuwaja Ajaz Ali’s car on Korangi road near Defence Morr when he was on his way to office from home near Akhter colony. He suffered serious bullet injuries. He succumbed to his injuries on his way to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Hospital (JPMC).

His vehicle rammed into a roadside pavement as he was attack. AIGP Sindh Ghulam Qadir Thebo has expressed concern over Khwaja’s murder and termed it great loss. “The killers will not be spared,” he told media.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has also taken the notice of the incident and directed police to furnish a report on the incident.
