Sindh assembly passes resolution against prolonged load shedding

Karachi: Sindh Assembly here Monday passed a resolution against proposed schedule of prolonged electricity load shedding in the province of Sindh.

The resolution moved by Suhrab Khan Sarki and others originally was against the prolonged load shedding in the rural areas of Sindh, but on the suggestion of MQM lawmakers the urban areas were also included it and the provincial government was urged to contact the federal government to get stopped the proposed prolonged load shedding in both rural and urban parts of the province.

The House passed the resolution unanimously.
