Sindh assembly passes three resolutions

KARACHI: Sindh Assembly here Wednesday passed three resolutions unanimously.

All the three resolutions were not included in the business of the day, but the speaker relaxed the rule to allow movers to table them.

The resolution of Irum Khalid (PPPP) and others was to pay rich tributes on 8th March International Women’s Day to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and other women who challenged discriminatory practices.

The resolution of Abdul Sattar Rajpur and others was to pay tributes to the heroic movement of students against one-unit in Hyderabad on 4th March 1967.

However, the resolution of Mohammad Sajid Jokhio (PPPP) and others was about to recommend the government to stop Malir Development Authority (MDA) from allotting lands of locals to business enterprises.

The House after debate passed all the three resolutions unanimously.
