Sindh needs power generation projects

Karachi: Sindh needs new power generation projects to boost economy, said a leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

PML-N local leader Sarwar Khan Kakar in a statement here Wednesday said without electricity economic and industrial development is not possible. He said after improving law and order in Karachi the next step should be to end shortage of electricity and gas in the mega city to spur economy.

He said the government should encourage private sector to set up cottage and small-scale power generation units in whole Sindh including Karachi to end load shedding. He said the use of solar and wind energy would greatly help in this regard.
