Six gunned down in city

KARACHI: Six people were killed and one other injured in separate incidents of violence here on Thursday. Two men, Shakir, 35, and Zulfiqar, 40, residents of Nazimabad, were killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire on them near Larosh Restaurant in Nazimabad No 4. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.

A man, Ibrahim, 40, son of Ismail, was killed in Lyari when unidentified people opened fire on him in Dhobighat area, Lyari. The body was brought to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

Two unidentified people, aged 30 and 32, were shot dead near Cheel Chowk in Lyari. The bodies were shifted to CHK for post-mortem examination.

An unknown person, aged 30, was killed when unidentified armed men opened fire on him on Ijtimagah Road in Manghopir. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy.

A man, Athar, 35, son of Bahar Ahmed, was injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him in Old Muzaffarabad, Landhi. The injured was shifted to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre for medical treatment.
