KARACHI: Six people were killed and three others injured in different incidents in the metropolis on Tuesday.
A man, Peero, 45, son of Tara, died when a speeding vehicle hit him near a shrine in Gulbai road area in Mauripur. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.
60-year-old man was injured when a speeding vehicle hit him near Dua Hotel in Mauripur Road. He was shifted to CHK for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
In another road accident, a youth, aged about 26, was killed when a vehicle hit his motorcycle near Parco Company in Port Qasim. The body was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities.
A young boy, Numair, 10, son of Ammir, was killed in a road accident in Khuda ki Basti area of the Surjani Town. The body was shifted to ASH for a postmortem.
Another young boy, eight-year-old Kashan son of Zohaib, was killed by a speeding vehicle in Joseph Town area of Korangi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy.
In another incident, a man, aged about 60, was found strangulated to death near Sadaf Lawn, 5-D in Surjani Town. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a postmortem.
Adil, 35, son of Ghulam Qadir, was injured when a speeding vehicle hit him in Yousaf Goth. He was rushed to CHK for treatment.
A youth, Saeed, 23, son of Saleem, was injured when a speeding vehicle hit him near Alladdin Park in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. He was brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment.
Another youth, Noman, 19, son of Salman, was injured in a road accident in Murtaza Chowrangi, Korangi. He was taken to Sindh Government Hospital Korangi for treatment.
