Six killed, two injured in different road mishaps

KARACHI: Six people were killed and two others injured in different road mishaps in the metropolis.

Three people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a car and a van near Murghi Khana bus stop in Quaidabad. Those died were identified as Huma, 38, wife of Amjad, an unidentified man, aged around 50, and a minor girl, aged around nine. The injured were Abdul Hafeez, 25, son of Mubarak Ali, and Ali, 24, son of Pir Mohammad. The bodies and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for autopsies and treatment, respectively.

Zarina, 45, wife of Amman Ullah, resident of Surjani town, was killed when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit her near Nipa bridge. The body was shifted to Darul Sahet Hospital for an autopsy.

Shani, 20, son of Arshad, a resident of Punjab colony, was killed when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near Defence Morr. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

Sajid, 35, son of Shamsuddin, was killed when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near Bilal colony in Korangi town. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.
