Six Pakistani teachers awarded in global competition

Islamabad: Six Pakistani teachers were awarded in an international teaching competition held at Turkey. Three hundred and forty four teachers from different countries participated in the 2nd International Teaching Knowledge Competition to prove their skills in English, Turkish, math, biology, physics, computer, chemistry, junior section and preschool categories.

The performance of competing teachers was judged by twenty-eight judges. Last year Pakistan won one gold medal in the same competition but this year PakTurk teachers won one gold, two silvers, one bronze, one honourable mention and one special prize. All the winners also received certificates and cash prizes from the organisers of the event as recognition immediately boosts the morale of teacher.
