Slips of the tongue in Sindh assembly

KARACHI: Two sitting ministers of PPPP government in Sindh provided the Sindh assembly some movements of laughter due to their interesting slips of tongue.

Sindh Minister of anti-corruption Manzoor Hussain Wassan while answering a question of Mohammad Kamran of MQM said his department always tried its best to maximize corruption. However, when he realized his slip of the tongue, he corrected his sentence that his department does its best to eliminate the corruption.

Leader of the opposition Mohammad Shaharyar Mahar said he congratulates the minister for telling the truth. However, the speaker observed that it was a mere slip of the tongue.

Later, Sindh minister for local government and information Sharjeel Inam Memon while congratulating Asghar Ali Junejo returned candidate of Pakistan Peoples’ Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) from PS-81 Sanghar, said his party was involved in poll rigging against other parties. However, when the House broke out in laughter, he corrected himself that other parties were involved in poll rigging against the PPPP.
