KARACHI: Azhar Educational Society AES Vice President Mohammad Azhar Gulzar said in a statement on Monday that he wanted to launch the World Grand Mega Cycle Tour for peace mission and HIV/AIDS awareness but it could not be launched due to government officials’ slackness in issuing official passport to him.
He said: “I am anxiously awaiting the approval of my passport documents from interior minister, Sindh home department and director general passport so that I could begin the world cycle tour for noble cause.”
Azhar said: “I am ready to set off the cycle tour but due to non-issuance of passport, the tour was delayed. He asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar to take notice of the inordinate delay and help in approval of the passport.”
It may be noted that Azhar wants to carry out cycle tour through Pakistan, Iran, Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Turkey,Greece,Italy,Switzerland,Austria,Slovenia,Croatia,Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Germany, Netherland, Belgium, Luxembourg, UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Egypt, China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Philippine, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Republic of Palau, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada.
