Sports: Cricket: Flower appointed Pakistan’s batting coach

Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced that former Zimbabwean batsman Grant Flower has been appointed as batting coach for a term of two years, which begins August 1.

The coach selection committee comprising of Moin Khan, Intikhab Alam and Haroon Rashid made the recommendation, which has been endorsed by Chairman PCB Najam Sethi.

“Zaheer Abbas, Special Adviser to Chairman PCB, and chief coach Waqar Younis too concurred with the committee’s recommendation,” a PCB media release said Thursday.
