Sports: Cricket: Pakistan CC clinches cricket tourney title

Karachi:,,, Pakistan Cricket Club won KCCA Zone VI Daud Khan Memorial Cricket Tournament after beating Alamgir Gymkhana by 56 runs here at RLCA Ground.

Batting first Pakistan Cricket Club scored 235-8 in stipulated 30 overs. Shaheryar Ghani (73 runs),Sarfraz Ahmed (55 runs) and Asad Shafiq (51 runs) batted well for the side. Salman Khan and Sheraz Hussain captured two wickets each.

In reply, Alamgir Gymkhana scored 179 runs losing all of their wickets in 30 overs. Saad Ali (50 runs) and Muhammad Hassan (47 runs) batted well for the side. Shahzaib Ahmed Khan captured a five-wicket haul for the victors in the match.
