Sports: Cricket: PDCA organizes trial match for disabled team today

Karachi: Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) is organizing trial match to select the national disabled cricket team, which will feature in the upcoming home series against Afghanistan to be held here in Karachi from February 22 to 27.

PDCA has announced 20 players out of which the final squad will be selected by the Selection Committee, comprising of Chief Selector Saleem Jaffar and members Sabih Azhar, Nadeem Khan, Zaffar Ahmed and Umer Rashid.

The trail match will be played on today (Wednesday) here at the UBL Sports Complex Ground.

The selected players for trial match and trails are Hasnain Alam, Ashfaq Ali, Abdullah, Sadeem Baig form Lahore, Rao Javed, Mohammad Kalam, Farhan Saeed, Iqbal Hussain, Arif Richard, Danish Ahmed from Karachi, Matloob Qureshi, Jahanzaib Tiwana, Umaiz-ur-Rehman from Multan, Fayyaz Ahmed, Abdullah Afridi from Peshawar, Abdullah Khan, Mohammad Ameer from Quetta, Rehman Ghani Mirza from Faisalabad, Altaf Ahmed from Rawalpindi and Ameer Ahmed from Hub, Balochistan.
