Sports: Tennis: Pakistan thrash Turkmenistan 3-0 in Junior Davis Cup

Karachi: Pakistani colts thrashed their counterparts from Turkmenistan 3-0 in the ongoing Junior Davis Cup in Kuching, Malaysia on Wednesday.

According to reports made available here, Pakistani youngster Raza Sawani overpowered Eziz Jumayev 6-3, 6-2 to put Pakistan 1-0 up in the tie.

Muzammil Murtaza defeated Andrey Kashenko 6-2, 6-4 to seal victory for Pakistan.

The junior players Raza and Muzammil put another strong performance beating the pair of Eziz and Bengench Nurberdiyev 6-1, 6-0 in the dead rubber to clean sweep the tie 3-0.
