Sports: Unified Para Sports Championship concludes

Karachi: The inaugural Unified Para Sports Championship was held here Thursday at Khatoon-e-Pakistan Women College. Players competed in bocce and volleyball events during the one-day championship.

Unified Para Sports is an effort made worldwide where mainstream players play along with special players with an aim to build well-being and acceptance of special people in the society.

Dr. Sabiha Essa was the chief guest during the closing ceremony of the tournament. Mrs. Zakia Soomro, Principal Khatoon-e-Pakistan Women College was guest of honour. Other present on the occasion were Aslam Khan, Ghulam Muhammad, M. Khalid Rehmani, Nadia Razzak Secretary Para Sports Pakistan, Ishrat Zehra, Gul-e-Zehra, Tahir Farooq, Ambreen Hanif and Tahir Farooq.
