Students urged to meet challenges with courage

Karachi: A person who accepts hard time of his life as a challenge for him to overcame his problems, it gives him confidence to move forward to do something extra ordinary in society.

This was stated by President, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University Karachi Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab while addressing to orientation session of the students who obtained admissions in fall 2015 semester’s morning, evening and week end academic program of the university.

Dean, Computer Science Department, Dr. Haji Khan Soomro, Chairman, Economic Department Prof. Afaq Ahmad Khan and Chairman, Computer Science Department, Ahmer Umer and other faculty members were also present on this occasion.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab urged the student to face their difficult time with courage to find way out of their problems rather than to be disappointed. He said the youth who are luckily obtaining education in universities, it should be their responsibly to do something better for their families, organizations and country. He emphasized that students should realize the importance of the country above all from which we are enjoying each and every facility, all kind of benefits, shelter and security.

Dr Abdul Wahab said that it should be the prime objective of our universities to produce such a competent manpower who may resolve national problems within available resources of the country. He said that in his view universities should be role model for the society rather than reflection of the evils of the society. He said that at MAJU the basic objectives of the education are to create a burning desire to achieve something in life, Professional competence and to up hold moral values among students.

Dr. Abdul Wahab asked the student to feel proud themselves that they are studying in a university which has been named after Quaid-e-Azam; Mohammad Ali Jinnah under his dynamic leadership the Muslims of sub continent achieved a separate homeland.
