SU dismisses rumours about exams postponement

JAMSHORO: Sindh University (SU) spokesman Nadir Ali Mugheri has strongly rejected the rumours regarding postponement of semester examinations which are scheduled to be held from May 5, 2014. Saying the examinations will start on the planned date which is May 5.

In a press statement issued here from Public Relations Section, the spokesman said that the semester examinations would start on scheduled date and there was no question of their postponement. He said a man was killed at Sindh University Housing Society on Saturday morning which was linked to Sindh University as professor in the news item aired by a private TV channel.

This provided anti-university elements with the opportunity to disseminate misinformation about the examinations through mobile messages.

He clarified that the semester examinations would be held on 5 May 2014 as per schedule issued earlier.
