Summer Camps to be held across the province

Peshawar: In order to promote and encourage healthy activities in public sector schools, Elementary and Secondary Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched summer camp activities in the High and Higher Secondary schools of the Province.

It is a designed attempt with an objective to strengthen the young students with a strong foundation to explore a positive change in their personalities and character along with their academics.

The summer camp was planned upon the activities including Qiraat and Naat competition, Arts, Debates, Cultural, First Aid Training, Games, Science projects etc.

Due to these activities the students will be able to deal with first Aid training, skills of art will be created and cultural values will be promoted. Furthermore, debates will not only increase their vocabulary but it will also improve their art of speeches, these activities will help us to celebrate our National day with great enthusiasm.

The natural skills of students especially in Naat and Qiraat competition will be refined / enhanced. Awareness regarding traffic rules and hygiene will be the part of summer camp activities.

Group of volunteers Teachers and Students from leading universities and institutions like LUMS, NUST, GIK, University of Peshawar, Islamia College University, University of Agriculture, AJK University are participating.

Teacher orientation sessions are also part of the activity of summer camp. According to schedule orientation sessions would be held on 5th and 6th August in Mardan, on 8th and 10th in Abbottabad and 11th and 12th in Abbottabad and Mansehra respectively.
