Survey (89% Pakistani households use a mobile phone)

Islamabad: According to a research study released by Intermedia USA for which Gallup Pakistan conducted fieldwork, 89% Pakistani households use a mobile phone.

A nationally representative sample of households, from across the four provinces was asked, “Please tell us, do you use a mobile phone?” In response, 89% Pakistani households said they used a mobile phone whereas 11% sad no.

A gender breakdown revealed that 56% of males have or can borrow a mobile phone while 38% females said the same.
