Survey: (Majority Pakistanis watched the Armed Forces parade on Pakistan Resolution Day: Poll)

ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 66% Pakistanis said that they watched the Armed Forces parade on Pakistan Resolution Day; 33% did not watch the parade.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “75th Pakistan Resolution Day was celebrated with a lot of zest and enthusiasm this year.

The capital of Pakistan hosted the Armed Forces parade after seven years, where warfare equipment was also displayed. Please tell us if you had the chance to watch the parade on this Pakistan Resolution’s Day?” In response to this question, 66% respondents said that they watched the parade by the Armed Forces on Pakistan Day, while 33% respondents did not watch the parade and 1% did not respond.

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.

The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1691 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during April 06- April 13, 2015. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
