KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Shoib Ahmed Saddiqui has said that Sindh Youth Development Program with the partnership of Institute of Business Management in cooperation with Commissioner Office will provide training and internship opportunities to unemployed youth.
Youths between the ages of 18 and 35 years would be provided training in nine different trades through highly qualified persons and scholarships also will be provided to them.
Siddiqui said while presiding over a meeting held at his office.
Senior member board of Revenue (R) Sindh, Advisor to president Manzoor Hussain Bhutto, Director of IBM Talib Kareem, IBM chief technical Advisor Mehboob S Kareem, Additional commissioner Karachi Haji Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner Dr Syed Saiful Rehman, Deputy commissioner West Syed Muhammad Ali Shah, Deputy commissioner Korangi Asif Jah Siddiqui, deputy commissioner South Saleem Rajput, Deputy commissioner Agha Parvez, Additional deputy commissioner Malir Junaid Ahmed Rajput and assistant commissioner Shahzaib Shaikh were also present.
Manzoor Hussain Bhutto told the meeting that “MBA passed teachers would be appointed to train youth in different trades for four months. Three months would be for training and one month for internship”.
This program will be started with the cooperation of SYDP, which aims to encourage the skills of youth and jobs are included to help unemployed persons.
