Terrorist bid foiled, five bombs of 20 kg explosive expose off

Peshawar: five bombs of each of four kg were defused by bomb disposal unit near National ring road Jamil Chawk police said on Thursday.

According to police each of the bombs was of four kg weight and the explosive was placed in four pressure cookers and one plastic container. The explosive was placed near 132 KV heavy transmission poles which aimed to destroy the main transmission line.

Bomb disposal unit reached the spot and disposed off all the bombs placed in pressure cookers and plastic container that were attached to fused and prima cards.
