THO arrested in corruption case

KHAIRPUR: Anti Corruption Establishment Khairpur’s circle office Himat Ali Chandio, along with office staff, raided Taluka Hospital Kotdiji and arrested taluka health officer Dr Ghulam Shabir Rajper and seized the hospital’s record.

Talking to newsmen, the circle officer said that Safullah Soomro lodged FIR against Dr Shabir Rajper that he issued him medical certificate on Rs50,000 bribe. Dr Shabir was also involved in corruption of Rs5 million medicine funds, he added.

CSS Coaching Classes: a meeting regarding the starting of CSS Coaching Classes at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur was held on Wednesday. Prof. Dr. Lutfullah Mangi, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Shikarpur Campus presided over the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr Mangi said that the students possess huge potential and curiosity to avail the knowledge but they need proper direction and guidance.

Faiz Mohammad Khoso, Former Ambassador and Director, Institute of Foreign Languages and CSS/PCS Information Centre briefed the participants about the salient features of the centre, available facilities, subjects etc. and said, this Centre will coach the students of this area with devotion and commitment to prepare the generation to participate in competitive examinations and serve the nation at large.

The meeting was informed that CSS Coaching classes will start from 1st September 2015 in the evening time from 3:00 pm to 06:15 pm at Faculty of Education.

Prof. Dr. Imdad Hussain Sahito, Prof. Dr. Taj Mohammad Lashari, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Mashori, Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussain Shar, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Zain-ul-Abidin Arejo, Abdul Aziz Shaikh, Additional Registrar, Ghulam Shabbir Phulpoto and others also attended the meeting.
