KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday issued Non Bail-able Warrant for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain for his alleged life threats to Rangers personnel.
Civil Lines police had submitted the challan against him which stated that Altaf Hussain issued life threats to rangers’ officials and personnel in an interview given to a private television channel.
The case was registered against MQM chief at Civil Lines police station on the complaint of Rangers Colonel Tahir Mehmood under An Anti-Terrorism Act. In the FIR rangers accused Altaf Hussain of threatening rangers’ personnel who had taken part in a raid at MQM’s headquarter, Nine-Zero on 11th March 2015.
The Rangers had raided Nine-Zero and claimed to have arrested many criminals including death convict Faisal alias Mota wanted in Pakistani reporter Wali Khan Babar murder case, Ubaid K2 absconding in many murder cases, accused Nauman alias Nomi wanted in Naimat Dhandawa’s murder case along with senior MQM leader Amir Khan.
