Three books launched at RAC

RAWALPINDI:,,, A launching ceremony of three books was organized by Rawalpindi Arts Council in collaboration with Bazm Ahl-e-Qalam Pakistan in which “Neend ki Dor hi Tot Gae” by Mehmooda Ghazia, “Ism-e-Azam” by Najaf Ali Shah and “Teri Yad ka Samandar” by Naseem Shahid were included.

The ceremony was presided over by renowned poet Tahir Hanfi, while Syed Nusrat Zaidi and Hassan Abbas were chief guests.. All the three books comprised poetry. Dr Farhat Abbas, Naseem-e-Saher, Prof Kaleem Ehsan also spoke on the books.

Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed thanked all the honorable guests. After the books launching ceremony a mehfil mushaira was also held in which Baber Zuhrab, Raza Ullah, Jia Qureshi, Aurangzeb Sukhan, Dilwar Ali Azar, Ahmed Farhad, Firdous Raja, Rashida Maheen Malik, Pir Atiq Chishti, Eli Asghar Samar, Imran Ami, Najaf Bukhari, Mehmooda Ghazia, Shahzad Azhar, Ziauddin Naeem, Naseem Saher, Wafa Chishti, Hassan Abbas Raza, Tahir Hanfi and Syed Nusrat Zaidi presented their poetry.
