Three killed, five injured in road accidents

KARACHI: Three persons were killed and five others injured in different road mishaps in the metropolis.

According to detail, Abdul Ghani, 50, son of Mir Mohammad, was killed and Gulzar, 35, son of Jameel, and Liaqat, 30, son of Nawab, residents of Baldia, were injured when unidentified speeding vehicle hit their motorcycle near Dak-khana in Liaquatabad. The body and injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy and treatment.

A youth, identified as Farhan, 25, a residence of Landhi, was killed when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near Bhains Colony in Landhi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for autopsy.

Separately, Sher Khan, 35, son of Sharaf Khan, a resident of Natha Khan, was killed when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near Bagh-e-Korangi in Korangi.

Three person identified as Hamza, 13, son of Kamran; Ali, 14, son of Aslam; and an unidentified man, aged around 35, were injured when their speeding motorcycle slipped on the road near Rangers Headquarters in Nusrat Bhutto colony. They were shifted to ASH for treatment.
