Three killed, four injured in road mishaps

KARACHI: Three persons were killed and four others injured in different incidents in the metropolis on Wednesday.

A man, Abdur Rahman, 30, son of Raja, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him near Gate No. 3 in Truck Stand area near Hawkes Bay. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

A man, aged about 40, died when a speeding vehicle hit him in Swat Colony in Baldia Town. The body was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities.

An unidentified man was hit and killed by a speeding vehicle near Pakola Company in Dumba Goth along Super Highway. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.

A couple, Amir, 40, son of Sabir, and his wife, were injured when their motorcycle was hit by a speeding vehicle near Haidry Market in North Nazimabad. They were rushed to ASH for treatment.

Two women, Khurshida, 30, and other unidentified 30-year-old lady were injured in a road accident at Korangi Crossing. They were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
