Three killed, seven injured in mishaps

KARACHI: Three persons were killed and seven others injured in different mishaps in the metropolis on Tuesday.

A man, aged about 28, died when a speeding dumper hit him near Do Talwar underpass in Clifton. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.

Hatim-ur-Rasool, 47, son of Syed Asim Ali, committed suicide at his home in Al-Ghazi Bungalows, Manghopir. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed hospital for an autopsy.

Eight-year-old boy, Faheem, was injured when he fell from roof of his home in Sangho Lane, Lyari. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

In another accident, a youth, Junaid, 20, son of Irshad, was shot and injured by unidentified armed men near Moon flats, Sector 5C2 in North Karachi area. He was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.

Yet in another incident, a 12-years-old child, indentified as Huzaifa, son of Sultan, was injured when a car coming from wrong direction hit him. He got minor injuries and shifted to ASH for treatment.

Five people including an unidentified, 50-year-old woman and others, Aman, 28, son of Abdullah, Aamir, 35, son of Abdul Sattar, Noor, 30, son of Mohammad and Rasheed, 50, son of Allah Din were injured in a traffic accident at Hub River Road, Site area. They were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
