Three killed, three injured in city

KARACHI: Three persons were killed and three others injured in separate incidents in the city on Thursday. An unidentified youth, aged about 26, was shot dead by unknown gunmen near Bismillah Chowk, Gulshan-e-Zia in Orangi Town. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.

In another incident, Zeeshan, 32, son of Dil Pazeer, resident of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, was gunned down by unknown armed men near Usman Hotel in Abul Hassan Isphani Road. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities. The motive behind killing could not be ascertained yet.

Yet in another incident, a three days old dead body of a woman was found in Gulshan-e-Behar Colony, which was shifted to ASH for an autopsy.

Separately, a woman, Nayab, wife of Inam, was shot and injured by unknown armed men in Shahrah-e-Quaideen. The injured was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre JPMC for treatment.

Meanwhile, a teenager, Suleman, 14, son of Zamim, was shot and injured by unidentified armed men at Jungle School in Baldia. He was shifted to ASH for treatment.

Furthermore, one Inamul Haq, 18, son of Gul Jan, resident of Peerabad colony, was shot and injured by unknown armed men near Madina Hotel in Qasba Morr. The injured was shifted to ASH for treatment.
