Three killed, three injured in road mishaps

KARACHI: Three persons were killed and three others injured in separate road mishaps in the city on Sunday.

Two persons, Ghulam Fareed, 25, and Imran, were killed when a fast-moving vehicle hit their motorcycle in Korangi Industrial area. They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, an unidentified 35-year-old man was killed when a train hit him in Malir City railway track within the limits of Malir city police station. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

Yet in another incident, two persons, Ghulam Naseer, 20, and Afzal Jalal, 60, were critically injured when a vehicle hit them in Yousaf Goth in Baldia. They were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment.

Separately, Akhtar, 24, son of Lal Bux, was injured in a road accident near Airport signal. The injured was rushed to JPMC for treatment.
