Three killed, two injured in road mishaps

KARACHI: Three persons were killed and two others injured in separate road mishaps here on Wednesday.

A woman, Sania, aged about 30, was killed and two unidentified men were injured when a speedy bus hit them near Murtaza Roundabout near DHA Morr. The body and injured were brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).

According to rescue sources, Sania was a nurse and she was going to perform her duty in a local hospital.

In another incident, a youth, Furqan, 25, son of Abdul Waheed, was killed in road mishap near Rangers Headquarters at Korangi crossing. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.

Yet in another incident, Abdul Samad, 45, son of Babu Khan, was killed when a vehicle hit him near Mauripur Road. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for an autopsy.
