KARACHI: Project Director Lyari Expressway Resettlement Project has with immediate effect ordered transfer of three senior officers from the project to streamline the functioning of the project.
The Project Director, Mohammed Sarfaraz Khan has said that a number of steps were being initiated on warfooting basis to start work for removal of encroachment from construction site of Lyari Expressway which was lying dormant for approximately four years.
The concrete steps are underway for providing right way to start construction on remaining portion containing 2.2 kilometre Lyari Expressway which has to be completed by June 2015, he added.
Shariq Ilyas, an officer of BS-19 Municipal Services KMC posted in the Lyari Expressway Resettlement Project on transfer basis as Director Finance has been transferred to join in the office of Local Government Department Government of Sindh for further posting.
Shakir Zaki, an officer of BS-18 Municipal Services KMC, posted in the Project on transfer basis as Director Land and Management has also been transferred to join his parent Department KMC.
Shahzad Anwer, an officer of BS-16 Municipal Services, KMC posted in the Project on transfer basis as Assistant Director has also been transferred to join his parent Department KMC.
