Three militants killed in Bara blast

LANDIKOTAL: At least three militants were killed in a blast that took place in the centre of banned outfit, Lashkar-e-Islam (LI), in Ghaibi Baba area, Tehsil Bara, sub-division of Khyber Agency, official and local people informed on Sunday.

The sources said the a heavy bomb exploded inside the premises of LI centre that left three fighters, including two from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. The volunteer of LI was killed on the spot.

Due to remote area in the Tirah valley and lack of communication sources, the causalities could not be confirmed from the militant groups.

It is pertinent to mention here that Tirah valley has become a hub of militants and different militant factions have established their strongholds in the area.
