TTP man gets 14-year imprisonment

KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) awarded 14-year imprisonment to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) man Ataullah for carrying explosives material.

ATC judge found Ataullah guilty of carrying explosives material in 2014. The judge pronounced the verdict after recording witnesses’ statements, evidences and arguments from both sides.

According to the prosecution, the convict was arrested by Counter Terrorism Department last year. The department had seized explosives material from Ataullah’s possession.

The ATC judge observed that charges against the accused of carrying explosives material proved true.
